I love cake.
Cake is my favourite food-group after beer.
If the Amiga was a person, what do you think it would ask for as it's 17th birthday present?
Irving Gould's head on a platter?
For the World to suddenly realise just how crap Windows really is?
Or maybe a new boingball mousemat. |

Posted by Anonymous on 23-Jul-2002 01:15 GMT | In reply to Comment 2 (Lando / Trinity): Irving Gould? why would his head be wanted? it wasn't his fault that CBM folded
he after all did what he could to save it.
it was (ick) that US VD idiot (former Apple VD -reckons-) jet flying son of a bitch,
with is eyes so glued on the PC shit that they had to surgically remove his eyes from
Bill Gates ass.
btw. the amiga isn't strictly speaking 17, the first (real) amiga saw it's light
at the end of 1984 so the little blighter is actually turning 18 now |

Posted by Indoro on 23-Jul-2002 05:31 GMT | In reply to Comment 3 (Anonymous): Actually, Amiga Corp was founded in Los Gatos CA in 1982....the first game related stuff was released in 1983...the first computer hardware was shown in 1984, the developer systems shipped in Dec 84/Jan 85...
So technically, Amiga is 20 now...but the Amiga computer is 17/18 depending on how you look at it... |

Happy Birthday *Anniversary*, Amiga, since we're revisiting its birth no matter which
date you look at.
May your intuition become even greater; afterall another year WISER. ;)
Here's a *Click* to Grown *Faster*. ;-) |
