In reply to Comment 2 (Budda):
OK, so what did John Hindle win? An AmigaOne? A life of freedom in Hawaii like last weeks winners....?
"I Am Amiga [of Borg]" club running every year for $50 - hopefully there'll be something worthwhile behind that.
It's good that there might be devices with Amiga DE on it from mainstream UK retailers (shame it's ODear and D.D.D.D.Dixons).

That was a good clip. Very simple and clear. The part about acting like a parent to a bunch of rotten kids was kinda funny (and by the looks of it, seems very true). Hopefully we'll see Amithlon 2 out soon, and with any luck, cheaper then v1! :)

In reply to Comment 1 (Budda):
To sum it up: "it's H&P's fault, we're angels".
And H&P are probably blaming AInc.
IMO they're both guilty of being incompetent.

In reply to Comment 6 (darklite):
Actually H&P have had jack to say.
I've quired (on the Amithlon mail list) both them and Harald Frank a few times for a statement on what BillMcEwen had to say about the lack of contracts and payment and Bernie's Amithlon statement and they have not said anything at all about them.
In fact Harald Frank carries on as though Bill McEwen and Bernie never made a statement at all and H&P just say nothing at all.
It's like "well they are in countries far away from Germany so stuff em.)
Cheers :-)

Its amiga's ip to sell , and only other people can *steal* it , i wouldn't say amiga are angels , but if they didn't get what was agreed they're certainly not in the wrong.
"IMO they're both guilty of being incompetent."
Incomptent would be amiga not sorting the issue out , they're standing up for what they own as they should.

You don't own Intellectual Property. That's why there
are different laws to govern IP than actual property.
The best you can do is have the patent or copyright on
a piece of IP. You never own it.

Never mind that by suing all and sundry over theft of IP, they can subtly imply to the world at large that Amiga's IP is apparently technology still worth stealing ;) Makes for a good lead-in to 4.0.

A trip to Hawaii, eh? Loved that movie. I especially liked the part when Governor Ventura lost.
