Posted by Kadenaa on 05-Aug-2002 13:24 GMT | Me too. Nice to see not everyone has there head up there own ar*e in the States. This article has given me a great deal of hope that there are people in the US that can see what is going one around them and hopefully this can be changed so that companies will be accountable to the people.
The issue AFAIC is not that companies become rich but that it both puts them above the law and gives them political power. Both of which can only be bad for regular voters and workers.

btw know how he feels I work in IT Consultancy and hate it pretty much all the time. |

I think it is about time we start broadening our perspective and look at the alternative platforms as a whole. Indeed, we should also look at many of the new projects which will be completer for their first releases around 2003/2004, as alternative OSes and hardware platforms are going to make a great present once again :)
The world is filled with "men of influence" that does nothing more than to defend their "titles". Hopefully, in the future, people will actually learn from our mistakes, as we have libraries telling us about them from thousands of years ago. Yes! Even thousands of years ago, a person could be sitting on his/her portch, thinking: Damnit! When do they learn!?
Oh, and the Squid is a GREAT artist!!!!!!!! |

For example, the Blue and Green factions in ancient Rome were very
similar to the MorphOS and AmigaInc factions on ANN. |
