Today was released Privoxy v3.0.0 (stable), a useful and powerfull proxy server ported to the AmigaOS :)

I love privoxy and have been running it successfully here on an Amiga
for some months with no problems whatsoever. For those people who
don't use this program, I would recommend it without hesitation.

I've been visiting ANN for nearly two years and I've never seen a
login box or anything resembling one. I can only assume then,
that I have been selected by the ANN staff to dwell in anonymity.
Until now, I have been happy with this, content that I had at
least be noticed by the upper echelons of the Amiga firmament.
Now, however, I am expected to withstand the insults of a regular
ANN denizen!
I implore you, allow me to register an account so I can shed this
anonymous skin. If that is an impossible ask, at least show me
some civility. It's not my fault.
PS. I am circumcised, if that makes any difference.

Theres no login system for ANN, you just type in a name in the "Name" field of the posting form. Of course people can fake other peoples names, but people dont do that often here. It shows your IP address along with your message (once posted), so often you can tell which postings are under fake names.
