Good news! Finally we'll see something more concrete of the new AOS. How they will show the tcp stack working? Maybe with a browser (AWeb perhaps?) ?

No, 68k versions only. Why ? Because many beta-testers don't have a PPC and those boards are pretty rare today. Why not on the A1 ? Because hardware dependencies are not completely removed yet.

Can I ask a simple question here?
When is AmigaOS4.0 coming already? This is ridiculous!
You can at least make slightly accurate projections! Everybody else does!
After going to the new Apple stores this past weekened and playing with OSX on a dual G4 processor for $1600 bux..to hell with A1/AO4! You guys (Hyperion/Eyetech)lost ALOT of non-recoverable sales due to your pathetic delays. Your hardware/software specs are now even MORE below industry standard! The specs were a joke even from the beginning! The A1's existance promotes a regression in computing!!! Who cares if it comes out or not now! Wake up people!!! ... what the hell are we all EAGERLY AWAITING for here? The oportunity to purchase overpriced, substandard hardware to run a majority of outdated software...FASTER?? Oh Thannnnnnnk you soooooo much for this wonderful opportunity Hyperion/Eyetech/Amiga Inc!!! You guys TRULLY... and I mean this from the botton of my heart... trully have your fingers on the pulse of cutting edge technology. Oh yeah.. same goes for MorphCrapOS/PegasCrapos!

Yes, old slow hardware excites us, does that bother you?
Also, featureless software & buggy OS'es excite us, does that bother you?
Wait, buggy OS'es is what Microsoft writes :) And Apple's hardware *isn't* overpriced??
Go buy an Apple dual G4 (i sell them), you'll love it, *IF* you can actually use it, this ain't a gamers machine, nor is it a mainstream machine, if your into DTP or DTV you'll love it, otherwise don't bother
As for why we want the A1 or Pegasos, it's simple, we love to *use* these systems, live with it

To answer your question: "when it's done". It can't be here earlier. Of course they could have released SOMETHING, but...well, I guess that most of us want something READY and mature.
Same applies for MOS I think.

It has a more up to date game library (second to the PC) than the A1 and it has a Nvidia Gforce4 card which is INCREDIBLE. How can you say APPLE is NOT MAINSTREAM???? You're living with blinders dude!

Some people have really weird priorities.
(anyway, there IS only 1 soccer game, it involves a round ball, a few pals, and fresh air. I think he needs some urgently)

Nowhere! On any platform!
A soccer game is a game involving soccer (or football, since it's played with a ball and your feet, as opposed to that wrestling-over-an-oval game they're amusing themselves with across the pond), and anything involving football in any way can't be good.
;)
But seriously, Apple hardware is still more mainstream than POP derivates like Teron/A1/Pegasos et c., so naturally AmigaOS should be sold for this as well.
Much hardware, many vendors, good for software. Little hardware, few vendors, bad for software. One piece of hardware, one distributor, can it get any worse? http://www.petitiononline.com/amigaos/. Simple. :)

Yup. Simple. I knew you'd understand eventually, Alkemyst. ;)
There's no need to e-mail Apple though. Or were you thinking of "old" heavily custom Mac hardware (even though other OSs than Apples also run on that hardware)? I was not.
When you say "you", you also touch another important aspect. If AmigaOS was also for sale separate from hardware, without the compulsory licensing/hardware-vendor-installed-dongle idiocy, then it wouldn't necessarily have to be Hyperion who did the porting work. A third (or fourth...) party could do it, like the way Bernie Meyer, i.e. somebody else than AInc/Hyperion/H&P et al., is enabling AmigaOS 3.x to run on x86 hardware with Amithlon today, or like phase5/H&P once made AmigaOS run on a hodgepodge of 68k+PPC with Warp/PowerUp.

If the super-bowl champs played against the
worldcup champs in "round" football, they
would no doubt lose badly, but if they gave
the world-cup champs the full "body armour",
and played the "oval" football, you would have
to have dozens of ambulences waiting to take
the broken remains to the hospitals, if not
the morgue...American football requires
strength, agility, speed, and attention to minute
detail, with voluminous play-books, sets, and
timing sequences.
The body armour is only there to
prevent death and maiming, not to prevent injury.
Ever been in a locker room after a game and
witnessesd the medical staff on hand go into
action?
Roundball soccer is great as it stands, but
don't think for a moment the average pro player
could last a quarter between the goalposts
against 300 pound linemen who can catch them
from behind and pound them into the turf...
Tearing, dislocation, and breakage, anyone?

Just plain stupid... you can't compare two totally different sports. Similar way, "I think that those players of "oval" football would be very badly hurt at ski-jumping and fail miserably at pole-vault". Just that some sport can make severe injuries to non-professional athlets of it makes it someway more greater.

No it's a response to the post:-) Lighten up already. No one is disrespecting soccer(football). He was just pointing out that football(American football) is an extremely physical, violent sport. I take jokes about football players patting each others butts in stride, take jokes about soccer players wearing hot pants and such in pride;-)
