Is there anywhere on the site which gives a list of brief descriptions
of all the packages? Loading the full description of each package is a
pain just to discover if there's anything of interest.

It seems to be a porting of various software packages over to the Amiga.
This will be interesting to see how this sort of thing might be applied to AROS.

It's not even that by the looks of it. It appears as though he's just
compiling random UNIX programs and hoping for the best. Tip: test your
compiles.
It's also worth mentioning that any prick with a GeekGadgets install
can do what this loser is doing. If he was actually modifying the code
so that it works on AmigaOS (ie. porting) I might offer some respect.
