Any chance of a version to work with the same card on Amithlon boxes? Please, please, please? :-)

Heh, any chance of this ever working in an AmigaOne? ;-)

OK... just to clear this all up... there ARE no TV card drivers inside SuperTV, it just uses Elbox's tv.library. The autodocs for which are publically available without having to sign any NDAs. If you want to run SuperTV on a G-Rex, Amithlon or AmigaONE, you'll have to write a tv.library emulation for your target hardware.
Don't ask me to do this; I *hate* tv.library, and the only PCI hardware I have available to me is a Mediator 4000 anyway :)

Fair comment Peter. I never knew anything about an Elbox tv.library
but it sounds like something (a clone library) that should be
developed for Amithlon too.
Now if only some clever bod could make it happen....

Surely Mr Meyer could do this. He's apparently well-versed in the intricacies of reverse engineering Elbox software.
Just depends on whether he has the motivation to do it, what with all the mess surrounding the legality of the various emulators at the moment.

I thought development had stopped as there was no more activity after March 2002.
Plus SuperTv just sounded more, erm, "Super". Wonder who is going to be first by expanding tyhe TV Card support in to a Personal Video Recorder then? It's all the rage at the moment.

What, like using VHIStudio to grab animations from the TV card? I think you can do this with the Elbox drivers (or Elbox have done some VHIStudio drivers for their TV cards).

Yes grabbing TV, but doing it in a VCR sense, with a timer etc so it can be left unattended. And i mean in a nice GUI based package, not some hacked together CRON job!

Why should it be made easier than using a real VCR? ;)

Get back in your box Dave :-p hehe
With SuperTVs arexx it could be some "good sh*t", if only there was a tv.library for Amithlon.
You could run APache on your amiga and using PHP have WAP pages served form it to allow you to set your personal video recorder from the pub via your mobile phone. sheer lazy ass - but very nice :)

Well, the ARexx port was really added so my forthcoming Hauppage IR receiver driver could control it externally (and anything else with an ARexx port).
