Shut up troll, and go tell Amiga Inc to spend some money in the market, cause
Hyperion and Eyetech won't be able to cover them forever.

Well duh, Mr Troll! In case you hadn't noticed, the Amiga died some time in the mid 1990's.
Sadly, it also seems like AmigaOS has already been killed off, around April 2002 (a report on the execution is available at http://www.amiga.com/corporate/041202-mcewen.shtml). Even though the most essential thing needed to at least give it a *chance* to resuscitate is removing the crazy hardware licensing shackles, this doesn't seem to be happening. RIP.
But hey, a few hundred deluded fanatics will be running AmigaOS on whatever hardware that Eyetech can decide is Good Enough for them and redistribute, and that fired Gateway marketing clown borrowing the Amiga trademark from venture capitalists will be selling people's puzzle games for Windows. All is not gloom! :-P

Nah, AmigaOS was killed when they announced the TAOOS was to be AmigaOS. But it has been ressuscitated meanwhile with certification so that some companies don't abuse users:)

Good luck with the show, hope it goes well for you after all the effort you've all put in.
Will you be hosting a "Winnder-takes-all" tag-team wrestling match between AInc/Eyetech and Thendic/bPlan? ;-)
Nah, I hope it all goes well and look forward to reading the post-show report - having the two products in teh same room at the same time shoudl offer some good basis for comparisons at last!

..so Thendic ARE going to attend now? now we get to see some
nice action and maybe some real debate..
WOASE idea? -> .any chance of actually having some kind of open, mature, discussion/debate panel ? Perhaps people can then see the direction they
wish to take?

What a mind-bogglingly silly idea. These are supposed to be commercial companies. This is not an election, it's selling stuff. There's no definite winner or loser, there are differently sized marketshares. There's not a limited/fixed number of people from whom you have to get >50% of the "votes", or you're out. There's no election day which people must make up their minds before, selling stuff is a continuous process.
You don't see public debates between the boards of directors of Pepsi and Coke, McDonalds and Burger King, Apple and Microsoft, Joe's Supermarket and Jane's Vegetable Emporium.
You see marketing, reviews, and purchases. FFS, it's all just computer hardware, software and trademarks we're talking about!
Is it that goddamn pathetic "camp" thinking that's playing up again?

Actually, I disagree - I think that, if handled properly, it woudl be a bloody good idea. Beneficial for the end-user.
> These are supposed to be commercial companies. This is not an election,

So why do you think it is a bad idea to encourage a well-managed public discussion of the merits of each solution?
Why do you believe it is a bad idea to allow prospective purchasers to ask BOTH "sides" at the same time, in order to guage exactly what the answers are?
