I could buy a Lindows based PC for that.

Not really. That's Australian Dollars, or Pacific Pesos.
The price would workat around $120USD (shipping included) if I've gotten my conversion rates right.
Cache Ya,
Craig.

Huh? Not really following...
This is what I'm waiting for http://dfx.boing.net/
It will allow me to use all my old amiga disks with the PC-winuae or to use my PC disks in my classic A1200 desktop. And I believe it could be used with the Amiga One, if it ever will be released. Where did Lindows fit in all this?

I've seen the Netgear Ethernet adaptor in action with the Thylacine USB card at a recent meeting of our User Group and was quite glad to see it work. Robert (The guy who designed the card) had his A4000 + Thylacine with the adaptor linked to his Sun SPARC and it functioned quite well, although all we could do is ping and Telnet to the SPARC. Because of that, I'm in the process of aquiring an adaptor to use with my Thylacine card.
It will be lovely to finally do some serious networking with my A4000 albeit only at 10Mbps (Though this is what you get with Zorro Amiga network cards anyway).
Shame I didn't bring my digital camera that day, I usually bring it, otherwise I would have posted some pics of it in action to our Group's Website.

Most people do not know the exchange rate from Austrailan dollars, pehaps some example prices would be usefull.

I thought I saw specs for X-Surf that claimed 20Mbps? It'd be nice to see more Z3 cards or cards that supported both Z2/Z3.
