"Yes, Amiga. The people who brought you the Joyboard--a foot-controlled joystick."
You just made my day ;-)

Don't laugh, you naughty b#st#rd :-)
If Commodore didn't failed and Microshaft didn't exist, maybe the Amiga was the home-computer standard nowadays
Well uh...

"We have watched powerful machines (e.g., the Atari) go by the wayside despite their impressive powers. Amiga, please don't join the sorrowful ranks that have wasted technological superiority through marketing muck-ups."
*cries* :)

haha that link moved me so, it almost brought a tear of fond memories to my eye :,) I wish I never had grown up. (altough on the other hand I'm happy I don't have to rely on 320x256 screens anymore, and that I can soon test games such as DOOM3 and quake4 :)

So Amiga circa 1984 wows people with demonstrations.
What does that say about Amiga circa 2002?
What about companies who now use demonstrations instead of todo lists?
I don't want to start a flame war here, but where is the original spirit of the Amiga? It doesn't appear to be at Amiga Inc.

People was easier to wow back in '84, and it says nothing about Amiga anno 2002.
"What about companies who now use demonstrations instead of todo lists?"
Well I rather see a todo list from Thendic because theres still a lot to be done.
Amiga/Hyperion/Eyetech have been showing all they can publically, if they could show a fully working A1 booting OS4 they would do that. Unfortunately they cant (yet) just like Thendic couldn't show a working Pegasos/morphos a year after they started development.

What is "the original spirit"? I like the spirit I see at Hyperion/Eyetech AND Amiga but I have no idea if its close to the original spirit.
