Dear Amigans,
"7th & 8th December".
Don't believe what is said by the ones who already promised you too much.
Or replace the words "December" by "June" and year 2003. And even...
Some will not like Turrican but he will always protect you. As long as liars are around.
Your avenger,
Turrican

Sorry, Mr. Turrican, but I have very little respect for someone who crossed over to the SNES. And your last game was so bad, even I could complete it.

Who cares if its greek, if it has a hidden meaning that only a few people will see?
It just sounds utter crap and I hope they will change it until they go function in 2003.

It has no hidden meaning, it's just a clean Greek word, from which the latin
word Genesis is derived, together with most of the other gen* (that have to
do with birth) words. Genesi=Birth.

Clever names as always.
Did you know the butterfly symbolises "a dead persons soul" in greece ?
Read that somewhere on the internet when looking up "Morphos".

"The Pegasos will come with a two year warranty and customer support packaged backed by Genesi and its authorized Distributors."
Hmmm... Do you have to be authorized in order to sell the Pegasos? I mean, like a specific Pegasos distribution license? And does that two year warranty mean that I'm locked to the Pegasos hardware for two years? Man, that's restricting the hardware. Haven't these guys learned anything from the days of the custom chips? This is an outrage! We must have a petition about this!
Have you helped SAVING the Pegasos today?

Right on Samface,
Allkiss is a little high on testosterone and a little light elsewhere.
Hey Allkiss, louder and ruder does not make it so. Remember? genesi, n. from the latin 'gene' meaning 'wanna be' and 'si' from the latin meaning 'also-ran'
Should you chose to claim these in the name of mother Greece, be my guest.
PS Get a sense of humor.

Anyway... Interesting to see what they are following the footsteps of Amiga Inc. and their partners. I mean, announcing "strategic partnerships", going to CeBit, co-developing with MAI Logic, offering free t-shirts, etc. Keep this up and it's going to get harder to find a reason for flaming Amiga Inc., don't you think? :-P

Very cool, does that refer to Phase5 or Amiga in general? :-)
-> Genesi/rebirth and then they should call Pegasos Phoenix at least, hehe.

This is very different from AIns's way of doing things in fact.
Hey Ben, what if I bought a coupon and I would now set a 2 weeks deadline for
AInc to deliver the T-shirts...would you sue them for me when they either don't
deliver or give me the money back?
I simply cannot believe people shall wait for the turn of the year without AInc
so much to even think about fulfilling their obligations from the club membership
dealings!

Aaaah, nothing like coming home drunk and happy, sprawling one's tired limbs in the cosy warmth of the friendly humming computers and hitting ANN! Aah, what have we here, a Pegasos/MorphOS announcement. A Thendic/bplan merger, seems like a natural progression, interesting news nevertheless. Oooh, a set date for the commercial release of a new piece of hardware, wonder if MorphOS will be delivered in a non-beta version by then. And lookee there, the usual suspect in the middle of it all with some mind-bogglingly non-sequitur, irrelevant nonsense about an entirely different situation and business model and about the people who want to get rid of the artificially applied restrictions of AmigaOS. Imagine that, it's been like five months and some people still totally miss the most basic points.

Adam,
"Hidden agenda" eh? Good one! :D
In case someone doesn't get Adam's joke (you ARE joking right? One can't be too sure in this smiley-dependent day and age) I thought I had made it obvious by now that I'd like to see AmigaOS on any hardware that technical and commercial feasibility allows, without the additional and artificial obstacle of licensing/bundling/dongling requirements, now that there will be no more Amigas and AmigaOS is dependent on third party hardware.
