It'öö be nteresting to see how developers will cope with the fragmented "market" in the future. I wonder what the overhead in time and money will be for those willing to support more than one option for "Amiga" users.
If it was up to me I'd say screw all OSes and go REBOL ;-)

Because of the large number of OS options, developers will need to be more
aware of writing their software so it compiles more easily for each one.
I'm currently waiting on an upgrade release of software I'm dependent on for
WinNT. It's ready for release, but the company refuses to release it
until the same upgrade for, I'm not kidding, their DOS version, is also
ready. They've been having a hell of a time with crashes under DOS, but they
don't want to alienate their DOS user base by releasing NT versions early.
Go fig... I can also see this type of thing happening with
