Why do the "Fibbonacci" and "Cambiata" (Who the heck chose the names?) have the same price? Same system, different CPU speed. Misprint?

"Amiga announces a partnership with Ex[t]reme Computing for the sale of logo apparel and other merchandise."
Hah, then maybe those suckers who borrowed ainc money can get their interest soon, their precious t-shirts. Why not buy an extra t-shirt or two, maybe one with a licenced trademark for some hardware, that will surely Let The World Laugh! Happy corporate fan-clubbing!
If anything's ever to be done over there, it apparently needs to be outsourced...

Umm, no? Or it's been fixed now.
Teron PX system w 750FX@700MHz: $1229.50
Teron PX system w G4@800MHz: $1299.95
Any why not those idiotic names? It's not as if "AmigaOne" means anything.

"AmigaOne" is a specification, remember? Not a particular computer model. The goofball names make sense (well, anyway there's some rationale for them) if you think of things that way.

Can someone tell me WHY THE HELL IFUSION is for sale?? The last thing I remember reading was it didn’t work with the A1200 (MCS blaming the hardware) and the A4000 version worked except for the sound and networking. That whole MCS prepay fiasco was criminal!! In the meantime I’ll keep my fingers crossed for “some kind” of port of MOL

Hey...Amiga, Inc.
I've got a novel fucking concept for you. Why don't you get on Hyperion to FINISH THE DAMNED OPERATING SYSTEM INSTEAD OF WORRYING ABOUT A BUNCH OF UGLY POLO SHIRTS, YOU IDIOTS. NOBODY CARES ABOUT BRIEFCASES AND MOUSEPADS ADVERTISING A NON-EXISTENT PRODUCT!!!

'"Powered By Amiga Users" Sport Shirt' -- What exactly does it mean to have "powered by Amiga Users" written across your chest? I can see Amiga, Inc. staff wearing those with some justification, assuming this stuff sells, but how does it make sense for anyone else? Maybe the company wanted to pay some respect to the fans, but they could at least use a phrase that the buyer could explain to people who might ask....

Following up on the polo shirt slogan thing...
Maybe better would be something like:
"Amiga -- Power to the users,
Powered by the users"
Which is still lame but at least makes some sense and seems to reflect the intended sentiment of the original. (Of course, Amiga's emphasis on "the users" rings hollow in comparison with nonproprietary, open-source platforms, but this is all just marketing here, anyway....)

>Why do the "Fibbonacci" and "Cambiata" (Who the heck chose the names?)
most of those names are related to musical technics.
Fibonacci (with only one "b") did some theory about harmonic relationships,
and "cambiata" is a peculiar figuration in renaissance music
(eg: G F* D E, where F is considered a passing note and can be dissonant)

Why would sales of T-shirts and briefcases make any difference at all
to the time of completion of OS 4 ?
The Friedens are not going to be spending time packing up the parcels.

So you've never purchased or worn any corporate t-shirt (Nike, Reebok, Timberland, etc.) ?
I've seen worse (a guy at the gym with a Nike Swoosh tatooed on his neck).

The last thing I read about IFusion was that development
was halted until OS4 started shipping. Maybe they are
gearing up again for an update or new version.
I thought the A1200 problem was a lack of developer
information being provided by DCE regarding the
blizzard PPC board.
Anyway, my questions regarding IFusion are will there
be a version that runs under OS4 and will the missing
functionality be provided(network support would be nice)?
Do the AmigaOnes come bundled with any software?
Jaeson K.

"Made of soft, top grain leather, this authentic bomber jacket has a smooth finish. It has an action back allowing for ease of movement and inside it's fully lined with quilted nylon for ultimate comfort. A storm placket for seamless styling and weather pr"
Bwahahaha. Is this a high school project from someone who has already been repeatedly "kept back" ?
Item descriptions are /free text/ and these losers have tried to squash them into a 256 character VARCHAR or similar. Maybe for their next project they should build an ecommerce PHP site that's unencrypted and XSS vulnerable. Nope, that already seems to be right there where you'd expect.
Oh wait, it's Ray Akey again. He already knows how to do those things because he's NOT COMPETENT to do his job. In most industries he'd have been fired, blacklisted and perhaps "accidentally" pushed into the machinery, but in computing he's free to do a poor job over and over again without even spending a night in jail.

How about "I came for AmigaOS running on new hardware and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt!" or "I bought a coupon for AmigaOS 4 and I didn't even get this lousy T-Shirt for free!"
Amiga Inc. can read you people like they're psychic. I can hear you whipping out your credit cards as I type this.
By the way, did you know you could make the Titanium Powerbook look like an Amiga? All you have to do is buy some TiPaint and make a stencil over the luminated Apple logo. The logo is practically flush with the surface so it would look pretty convincing.
Plus I can run faster than Amiga Inc.'s laywers. Hahaha, catch me if you can!
