Too much :( I would like to have 15" or 17" TFT-monitor... But NO, I don't want any LCD-monitor :). 15" TFT costs a bit more than 500EUR here... Too much for me right now :(

The cheapest I've seen in Germany is a 470 EUR 17" TFT. I paid 800 EUR for mine (Miro FP176) a while ago, and I don't regret the purchase: very good picture quality, lots of desk space gained, etc.

Im getting my birthday present tomorrow, a Samsung Syncmaster 172t, who
knocked down everything in recent reviews, less than 25ms response time and Super-Slim Design.
the low response time completely removes the "ghosting" (high pixel delay)
that most lcd's have and the result is that its so thin and compact that
it makes anyone drool when they see it, especially when they see how clear,
bright, and crisp the image is.
price : aprox one and a half pegasos or 860 euro vat incl.

I have seen a LG Flatron 15" TFT monitor for EUR 369, incl. VAT, here in Spain. But what I would like to ask is:
I don't have a graphic card, only a SD/FF. How well performs this kind of display in native screen resolutions?
Saluditos from Spain,

19" and a minimum of 1600*1200, I will settle for no less ;)
Anyway, am I the only one who just gets a blank page from that URL? Using Mozilla 1.2b.

I had a Sony 15" TFT in use on my A12k + Mediator system and although Voodoo screenmodes were spot on, all the native modes, output through an Eyetech "INSD2" internal Scandoubler... (which, funnily enough was manufactured by DCE) were pretty f***ed up.
Basically, Pal and NTSC modes were shown on the monitor and I could see early bootup screens and suchlike, but they only showed on half of the monitor (either the top half or the bottom half) and were squished to fit. No amount of adjusting the monitor settings seemed to fix it.
Most recently I have been using a Samsung SyncMaster 151MP TFT which is also a TV (it has a built in tuner and comes with a remote control) and also has S-Video, Composite, and Stereo Audio inputs so that I can have Voodoo modes going through the VGA-In, Native AGA modes going through the Composite video, and I have the X-Box hooked into the S-Video in. The 151MP also has a PIP function so you can have two inputs showing at once (One in a window). It's also got a nice, fast pixel response time of <25ms, unlike the Sony which was 40ish and hence crap for games/DVDs.

In reply to Comment 7 (Björn Hagström):
It is worrying that the website doesn't work on Mozilla. SWAUG Surf-Zone is carefully tested on a wide range of amiga/pc/mac web browsers and we ensure it is compliant with web standards.
We will look into this problem. If you can provide us with any further details please do.
