Argl. What I wanted to post instead of this garbled mess is: He does it all the time, it's probably intentional. Have people wandering around the site, a bit desperately looking for the actual news article, and all the time clicking on links that lead to items on sale. Annoying as hell. |

Posted by Hooligan/DCS on 11-Dec-2002 03:28 GMT | I found the shots in 5 seconds by clicking the linkbar under the three banners and selecting Crossfire 2, without even switching to english mode (which I found later when browsing the site.
Is there anything people can't complain about? |

Posted by JoannaK on 11-Dec-2002 06:43 GMT | In reply to Comment 6 (Hooligan/DCS): IMHO there have been too many obviously commercial 'announcements' in last month or so.. Crossfire this Crossfire that.
Ok.. some may say the same about new OSes or hardware but IMHO those are much more important issues at the moment than this game. |

Posted by SlimJim on 11-Dec-2002 09:06 GMT | In reply to Comment 8 (JoannaK): @Joanna
Well, all news items cannot be equally interesting to all people.
I for one think it's interesting - I've been looking forward to seeing
these screenshots and really expected them to appear on ANN (or amiga.org) when
they were available.
Unlike some other news items its not like it's flamebait or offensive to
anyone...(?) In fact it's (these days rare) happy news: a new *original*
and apparently great game for the Amiga/MOS platform.
There is really no need to have a go at *everything* you know.

Posted by ehaines on 11-Dec-2002 23:51 GMT | In reply to Comment 8 (JoannaK): It's not like the Amiga is inundated with original games these days. In
fact they are downright rare. Could you please age mentally about 10
years or so in order to reach an acceptable maturity level? Thank you. |

Posted by JoannaK on 12-Dec-2002 04:17 GMT | In reply to Comment 11 (ehaines): I have to agree.. You two are right. It's good to have new games to system, real NEW games and not just quick ports of 5-year old (now GPL:ed) PC games.
And who knows it may even be as fun as those oldies I still remember. :) |
