(From www.morphos-news.de)
AmigaPages.de has released a video from the "Amiga + Retro Computing 2002".
On the video there are shots from all around the show. You will see the booths of some (all?) of the exhibitors. You will see an A1, some Pegasos systems (with April), the C=1 (and Jeri), and a walker. You will see some shots of MorphOS in action; from simple windows-dragging to games as Quake and Birdieshoot(??). It looks really nice!! You will also see a brief shot of Amithlon in action.
The video gives you a good feeling of the show, IMHO.
Get it from: http://www.amigapage.de/messe2002.html

Posted by Soren Ladegaard on 11-Dec-2002 16:22 GMT | Hmmm.....too bad the connection is so poor.
I have a 10 Mbit connection, and all I get is 3 Kbit per second.
It may be interesting, but I'm not going to wait 11 hours just to see it :-) |

Posted by takemehomegrandma on 12-Dec-2002 08:10 GMT | In reply to Comment 5 (STRICQ): The page doesn't say anything about that, as far as I can see. But since normal copyright should apply I would say that you can *not* do this without their permission. But you could allways ask them. Perhaps they would appriciate to share the server load with you.

its nice to see videos of these events which i cannot get to.
it'd be even nicer to have non-biased reporting of the events too!

Posted by takemehomegrandma on 12-Dec-2002 12:19 GMT | In reply to Comment 7 (alan buxey): Well, regarding the fact that Genesi had bought 50% (was it?) of the floor area and filled it with running "AmigaNG-*like*" computers, it would be kind of strange if this wouldn't reflect in the show reports, don't you think? I think that many of the show reports were quite well balanced (with this fact in mind), and so is the video IMHO. |
