IOSPIRIT is happy to announce the availability of fxPAINT 2.0. All preorders have been dispatched already (with the exception of non-paid prepayment-orders). fxPAINT 2.0 is available on CD-ROM and as download version and runs native on 68K, PowerUP, WarpUP, MorphOS and Amithlon.

WarpOS User should have a look in the Faq first:
http://www.iospirit.de/index.php?mode=pmrinf&pr_id=1&dlsid=da623cb223adbb0c96e1a29ff9dd639c&dlccode=1&dls_lang=e&dlcon=5&dls_ivs=1&submode=faq&f_mode=view&pr_id=1&f_id=89

Note, I like FXPaint and I doubt really it is Felix` fault here, but anyway for me
i have to use Warp OS simple because most of the PPC apps taht i have use it. Unfortunatelly there is no wrapper
for ppc.lib which could use warpup apps.
So the only Solution for me is eihter start dualbooting (I never did) or disable PowerPC Support, which is no very good Solution, because FXPaint needs indeed Power!.
Using it under WarpOS is to unstable for me :-((((

Anyone going to fix Warp OS?

One could try Hyperion or Haage & Partner for a fix.

Hmm, why not use a dual PowerUP/WarpUP system then? This is very viable .. I mainly use PowerUP and only need WarpUP for games .. also, fxPaint 2 runs rock stable under my WarpUP install .. so this seems some bug deeply within WarpOS and - as the faq says - only few are affected .. I'm not either .. anyway, time for Hack & Patch to provide either of both ;) .. it's sad they first started a big big war and now leave don't even reply if there is a bug for some .. anyway, could as well only be a badly set environment var as well .. why does WOS need those at all btw? PUP works out of the box .. copy it to libs: and done. Hmm, but as said, I stick to my dual PUP/WOS system - best solution until OS 4 / MOS imho ..

Would be cool with some screenshots from FXPaint 2 running on MorphOs 1.1 - is there any plans to do this?
Other than this. Great to see a gfx app being developed further on the Amiga platform.

I'm running fxPaint under WarpOS without any Problems. It seems that
the problem only occurs on very few WarpOS-setups.

Just for clarification:
My posting was never meant for blaming IO Spirit or FX Paint as bad Software.
In Fact FX Paint is one of, if not the , most powerfull Graphic Solutions with
many great Effects, nice looking Gui and not to forget it supports every Amiga Solution
out there. And as I mentioned, it seems that there are problems with WOS, not with FX Paint.

That was it meant for, pointing out the Problems with WOS, nothing else.

it´s a very good software in this state.
It would be the best software ever seen, if it only supports MOS, RIGHT ????

It´s typical for you....

It runs on MorphOS .. it was even shown running native and rock stable on a Pegasos in Aachen!!

I know, but the point is that it runs on WarpOS, too. That makes this
software not perfect. The best thing (for Mr. "thats what my wife
called me: Cold fish") would be if it runs ONLY on MOS.

I recieved my copy some days ago, and since I never have tested this
software before I was very suprised of its damn fine quality for the low
price compared to other similar programs.
The speed on my Peggy was awesome and I just love this nifty program :)

Felix has made a lot of clever software for the Amiga and is one of the few
who still delivers quality stuff for it. Please support his great work.
