Just my attempt to make a page with most available MUI-Classes. It's on my own server so it might be a bit sluggish at times :) You should be able to reach it at MUI Classes

Yes, I have. But I find a couple of things that's not good about that site. First, it's not updated anymore. Secondly, it relies on the authors to register there classes, so it can be added to the page. Now I have to do the work, but I do that anyway. Now I just have to add them to my page :)

Regards

Very, very, very, very nice. MUI needs a site like this.

You know what else would be a good idea? DATATYPES!

Wish there was a site somewhere that would attempt to keep a list of the most recent datatypes available.

In reply to Comment 7 (TBone):
Isn't there an AmigaGuide document on Aminet which lists the latest versions of each datatype?

Please could we have a ReAction version of your site rather than a MUI one ;-(

In reply to Comment 7 (TBone):
How about a 'Windows Update' type utility? It could scan versions of libraries, datatypes, etc and tell you which ones need updating.

Obviously someone would need to maintain a master database.

I don't think a site sneaking into your computer configuration being a good idea. We can do just as fine in a safer way. Here we go :
The program on the Amiga scans MCCs and collects names and version numbers.
Then, it downloads a textfile from the site that contains the name and version number of the latest MCCs.
The prog compares and finally requests (thru some FTP for example) the MCCs that need an update.
i.e. the computer checks the site for updates, instead of the site scanning your harddrive to tell you what is to be updated.

In reply to Comment 12 (Rafo):
The problem is, how would you keep track of the latest MCC's/libraries/etc?

I don't think you could rely on the authors to update the database. Perhaps a mailing list could be setup? Sometimes the latest version appears on Aminet, sometimes it appears on the authors website. Perhaps a mailing list could be setup.
