Elbox wishes Amiga users/supporters a Happy New Year : Comment 2 of 14 | ANN.lu |
Posted by priest on 31-Dec-2002 10:09 GMT | Without them there would be no PCI busboards for Amiga. I mean that without Elbox the others would still be just thinking about PCI busboards.
(doing sh*tty PR things etc. just seems to be the standard of Amiga businesses) |

Happy New Year to you too, Elbox! |

Anyway i think Elbox should fix the PR thing, if they do they would be the NUMBER 1 on amiga!, maybe they still are number 1 even if they have bad PR...hmmmm ummm ok..enough allready :) |

Posted by RDB Killer on 01-Jan-2003 22:17 GMT | Adding Hard drive killer code to its drivers then calling anyone who protests or says the code is nasty is branded a "pirate", that is certainly not good PR or good buisness tactics coming from a company what claims to be open and honest,
They did not even say Sorry which is worse. |

Posted by coldfire on 01-Jan-2003 22:35 GMT | In reply to Comment 13 (RDB Killer): I think the problem is they don't have any PR people at all. It is a BAD THING to let engineers do PR work. They are not capable of it. I have worked with hundreds of different engineers over the last 25 years and very few were able to even pretend to be human. Engineers as a rule (there are exceptions) should not be allowed to communicate with the public at all. :)
