New game for Amiga : Comment 1 of 9 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Troels E on 17-Jan-2003 19:22 GMT | Looks like a typical Amiga Anywhere style game. Not something new or something I would buy for a desktop computer.
The music OTOH sounds interesting, Aplhaville was brilliant back in the 80's :-) |

From the CompCity site: "P.S. It will be free! :-)"
And yeah, Alphaville/Bernhard Lloyd music in an Amiga game? That's bloody marvellous! :) I hadn't heard of Atlantic Popes before, and I must say it was a nice discovery for me. |

(BTW Alphaville released some good stuff in the 90's too ;)) |

New game for Amiga : Comment 6 of 9 | ANN.lu |
Posted by alan buxey on 19-Jan-2003 11:21 GMT | looks interesting.
as its free..i'm wondering what their revenue tree will be- i notice
possibly adverts in the bottom right of the screen..and the game
does demand to be online. security of this, of course, is important.
i dont want the game to cause a hole on my system (and will i need
a new firewall hole - or will it xfer via simple FTP protocols)?
more details needed.
the development team need to sort out their homepage too
but looks interesting! :-)

Maybe I'll be surprised. |

New game for Amiga : Comment 8 of 9 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Mart on 19-Jan-2003 18:23 GMT | The game will firstly be released for AmigaOS and MorphOS, later also for Mac, Linux, Windows.
The game connects trough the Internet with a server wich holds all the foto's/pictures. Also the server will use the bottom right place in the game to display a banner, this will be the way the programmers get their money.
I believe users van upload home-made pictures to the server, so the database will grow.

New game for Amiga : Comment 9 of 9 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Cerpheus on 20-Jan-2003 08:20 GMT | In fact the gameplay is much more fun if you play it as you can imagine from description. Its a nice game to play in-between. Hey, Tetris, Moorhuhn sound also very boring if you would read the gameplayy. ;) |
