This is a map where you add your coordinates and your preffered OS and you become a name on a map together with some statistics.

Operating System User Worldmap Survey

Hopefully, we'll see different versions soon, including listing of just a country, listing of one single operating system, and instead of names, just small dots. Similar to the picture taken of the world at night from satellites. Each user becomes a dot, ten users at the same place becomes a larger dot, etc. I've notified the site owner of these little enhancements.

Sounds interesting. Someone should make a web page like that. Oh, there already is one? How about a URL then? :-D

funny, all the formatting dissapeared too. I have a couple of <BR>'s in there..
the links was at "Operating System User Worldmap Survey" which was surrounded by BR's to make it easy to 'navigate'..

just dots would be nice..different colours for different OS's..and
different sizes for numbers of users.... when the country zoom in
is done it'd be nice to see places here in UK. anyway, just added
myself...hopefully i've got the right coordinates ;-)

PS If someones dot IS iun the sea...it might not be a mistake!! they
may be living on an offshore rig :-)

Ah, it seems they somehow removed all those americans who ended up in
the Himalayas after forgetting the - in front of their latitude..

hmm doesnt people live in the himalaya's? , was it there where the Bigfoot was from? :Panyway the site looks abit.... old...would have been cool if it got fixed up, and i think that the cordinates should be on its main site...anyway all should add itself here, as amiga needs to be on a map :)
