I think that after the 1.5 release, you should add some gui so make your program more user friendly.

In reply to Comment 3 (Joël EHRET):
A GUI is handy for simple jobs, but practically every multimedia
project that is at all complicated (in Scala, Flash, both Directors,
etc) is done with scripting.

AHI support is a big step forward.

Looks great! Although as someone else said, some sort of GUI would be nice, and dare we dream the impossible dream - Powerpoint compatibility! ;-)

In reply to Comment 4 (Don Cox):
Ahi is essential for future proofing this and other softwares. There is extremely few things MOS and OS4 makers have agreed on but AHI-suppport is one of them. So for the program future, it's essential addition.

And yes.. some kind of Framerate-limitting can be good idea too :)

Forget about this. Hollywood is written by one single coder - no chance that he'll ever have the ressources to implement something like this.

Besides, Hollywood is not "just" a PowerPoint/Scala clone. IMHO it's more of a BlitzBasic/Flash crossover.

With Hollywood you compile standalone AmigaOS applications. These applications do not have an ARexx port.

But they could have, in principle, and this would make some of them
more useful.

That's silly. Import/export filters are available as part of Open Office and they are excellent.

>Besides, Hollywood is not "just" a PowerPoint/Scala clone.

The choice is up to the author. The capability to support either format means greater flexibility and market share.
