Since today the reading Sample and the preview of the Amiga Future 41 (March/April 2003) is online.
The Amiga Future is a german only Amiga magazine.

Besides a detailled review of Pegasos/MorphOS (part 2) there are reviews of Hollywood, IBrowse 2.3 and the Amiga Arena Games CD, an interview with Bill Buck and much more.

The cover CD contains among other things the uncrippled version of Virtual Karting 2.

Really nice cover :) I'll buy this magazine even though I only speak two words of German (gives me an excuse to learn).

Anyone seen "Geltungssüchtiger L" above the "Amiga Future" logo? I wonder if the layouter had someone specific in mind :)

Sure.

I suppose this might have something to do with the fact that AmigaFuture41 will be the *April* issue. (April 1st, anyone?)

Nah, it'll be out at March 5th, way to early to include April jokes :-(

The L. stands for lector (the one who corrects the final texts). Insider.

For those not fluent in German, what does "Geltungssüchtiger" mean in English?

Still confused...

In reply to Comment 10 (Lando):
Babelfish is confused. :) That's one meaning of "Geltung".

I'd say "one who feels the (extreme) need to assert oneself, hold one's own". I don't know if there's a precise English term or expression for it.

Well, the next issue will come in June... So, the current one *is* the May/_April_ issue.

Lame cover, boring colors, ugly raytraced Pegasos, this has no style at all, just like the rest of the mag.
