Due to the positive reactions in out poll E3B has decided to start the production of the ROMulus addon module for the popular HIGHWAY board. A full announcement for this long awaited product can be found on the E3B website.
A german version is also available. If any questions regarding this innovative product are left open, please contact us directly by mail.

Ok, I want a highway. But:

Will the new sold highways have their bus updated? Or will I need to buy it, then send it to them for the upgrade to be able to use the ROMulus?

Hi MrZammler,

the bus logic upgrade is not due to compatibility issues but only to set one more bit in the AutoConfiguration ROM (telling the OS to read the ROM space).
So there is no possibility to upgrade the bus logic before.

Guess what happens if the Kickstart tries to read a ROM image which is not present... (in our tests, nothing happened, but who can guarantee this for all Kickstart versions ?).
