Where are they? They were promised x months ago .. What I heard elsewhere: McEven is the only "employee" by now and operates the "company" from his livingroom .. however, this may as well be evil fud spread by evil people. I doubt so, though.

My (fun!!) guess: The sholy cow kidnapped the entire team and brought them to the new and top-secret Afghanistan offices of the huuuuuge Zervinsci company (the one starting with Merl..). They are now forced to build their latest high-tech computers, designed in cooperation with Mr. Bush and his old friend Saddam. A press release of this success story to appear soon in Forbes magazine! :) .. of course this is (partly) absurd .. ROTFL ..

The truth? Nobody knows. Do you? Enlighten us!

What's the point? You're going to send them a letter?
If you need to get in touch with them, send them a mail and ask them.

A letter is more personal :) .. also I want to get my 50$ coupon and phoning them is the fastest way to achieve this. So give the data to me, if you are not a liar who wants to show a stunt.

Are those addresses at amiga.com still incorrect?
They have updated a lot of bits and pieces on their web site, so it is very stupid if they did not correct their address...

He has a living room? That implies he has a house or apt still. I heard he operates from a soup kitchen.

Well, that Ravensdale address better be correct. I just mailed in a check to join the "I am Amiga" club yesterday. The mail box was emptied at 9 am.

Amiga! Darn, I forgot to tell them my T-shirt size.

According to some 'non 100% independent' source it's cause they have been continueosly been harrassed by some evil people. On the other hand, isn't giving false contact adress for corparation somewhat questionable (if not downright illegal)?

If they do not want to be contacted, it would be better to get rid of the whole address in those corporate pages.
(correct snail mail adress should not harm, though. U C, I doubt Genesi Commandant would send any exploding letters anyway...)

I could say that this is not a rant - it adds no opinion, no new insight, not
even a new take on a sad sitution.

I could say this post only aims to stir up another flamewar.

I could say that this post belongs in the "forum" section, at the most.

I could say it doesn't belong on the front page of ANN.

... But if i said that there will be another flamefest full of insults and
discussions on what is and what isn't, despite the fact that my post would have
been presented in a non-agressive tone, without incentive of hurting anyone's
feelings, but only to voice my own humble opinion.

...So I won't.

ROTFL! The clowns have actually removed any traces of a postal or street address from where the old, incorrect one used to be on their site!

Dept. of Revenue, Washington. Public records database.
Remember, Ainc's business license listed on this page was renewed way after they disappeared from the office they rented, and the database was last updated on Feb. 1st if I read the backwards American way of writing dates correctly. Still, the old address is all that's available. Not even a PO box:

Well, your link is accurate. I mailed a check to Ravensdale the other day. I guess people move sometimes. The account was opened Jan. 1st, 2000, after all.

Amiga! On the move.

And there goes another attempt to discuss whether this is that or that.

Why not discuss the content of the post instead?

I'm sure we have better things to do then analyze all day which posting is news, which is rant, which is "forum" or whatever.

It is the content that matters, after all.

As to the content of this posting, I must say I am surprised about this pro-longed situation. It doensn't make them look good. At least acknowledgning the problems in public and telling everybody that we are now using just this P.O.Box would in my opinion buy them some small-company-credibility.

There are lots of respectable small companies doing that after all. But the respectable ones don't usually try to hide it, which makes this look more suspect in my opinion. It makes them look bad and it really doesn't need to - just a bit of openness and honesty to make it better. Just a suggestion.

Hasn't anyone heard..... they are to busy developing unders a MS contract to be bothered by unimportant things like contact information other than email, if that even gets thru.Let's add it all up. Secret club so the world may know. Super secret development that causes delays in providing promised club members with even timely newsletters... who needs newsletters when you can't talk aboutthe super secret stuff? They are so busy that they don't have time to fullfill contracts....they be working on some MS contract....their site mall sells 3rd party products like they are a retailer, not a manufacture.A great deal of information has been removed from their site in changes...anyone want to add to this.... so to help people understand they are simply to busy to be concerned about providing contact information? Perhaps Tao is showing more signs of life? But do they support MS?
