IBrowse 2.3 is working very well here, on an A4000 with CGFX. The Javascript support seems to be complete, and the program is very stable.

It is IMO a nicer browser to use than Internet Explorer, even if IE supports some more advanced features.

It's amazing how much a small team of Amiga programmers can accomplish, compared with hundreds at Microsoft.

My sentiments exactly. I've used IE, Nutscrape, Mozilla, and Opera, and IBrowse is by far my favourite browsing environment. My ideal browser would be IBrowse, but with up to date standards compatability. Oh well, I can dream :)

Well, coding for CSS support is under way, and the specs of version 3 were given in the interview. The only question is how long it will take, when the financial situation means the work has to be done in people's spare time.

As with everything else, what we need is a _lot_ more Amiga users.

I kinda like Netscape, it's bloatware, and stuff, but it's not bad considering the average PC processing power. The last version(7.02) is stable and has cool features, it even prevents pop up ads if you want, and has integrated dowload manager.

phoenix would have quite a better chance of quicker port to AmigaOS
since it doesnt use the old mozilla/netscape GUI junk
