Don't bother, most of the trolling over the last few days (and some of the posts today) have come from this IP address, or one very close.

"Alan Redhouse, The man who lays it straight [ROTFL! Come on...], writes exclusively every month for Total Amiga Magazine. "

I can't comment on TAM, as I have never had an opportunity to read it (international magazine subscriptions are out of the question for me ATM), but I have to admit that I tend to become VERY suspicious when a dealer writing advertisements ("news" on the Teron boards) for the products he sells is presented as editorial material and a reason to buy the magazine!

Will he write a review of the Teron boards in the mag too, once AmigaOS runs on them? :-)

An *interview* with the man could perhaps have been interesting, if it wouldn't be performed in the totally uncritical and sycophantic "please send us a press release and let us tell our readers how much everything r0xx0rz" style, that unfortunately many "interviews" these days abide to.

To clarify again, I'm not referring to Total Amiga Magazine, but computing/trade news sources in general and Amiga related such in particular.

I understand your point but I think the opinions of those in the industry can be interesting so long as you take into account where they are coming from. Both Alan Redhouse and Fleecy Moss write a column for Total Amiga and the fact that they represent Eyetech and Amiga respectively is clearly shown. It's up to the reader to judge their bias and decide how much to trust their words.

BTW if you're interested in the mag we have several back issues available for download in PDF format on our website.

"Rip off mag"

Gahh.. I tried to bite my tongue and comment on this no further, but that comment has really annoyed me.

Total Amiga magazine is a NON-PROFIT magazine, done entirely by people in their spare time as a service to Amiga, AROS, MorphOS and Amiga emulator users out there. Rather than spending all their time on web forums pointlessly bickering, whinging, moaning and trolling, these people are working hard for the benefit of the so called "Amiga Community".

Total Amiga is a very high quality fanzine; and it is clear that a hell of a lot of work goes into providing news, reviews, opinions, and tutorials for our benefit. These people have gone out and arranged professional printing services, spent hours writing material, invested their own time and money, for nothing more than the satisfaction of knowing they are providing a service that people appreciate.

Your pathetic, petty little trolling comment is not only incorrect, but makes you look like a complete moron.

BTW, I am not in any affiliated with Total Amiga magazine, and I'm not one of the contributors, i am just a very satisfied subscriber. Now, if you think its a "rip off", then don't buy it, but spare us your pathetic unconstructive comment.

Thanks Robert for a great mag!

It is very annoying when people make unqualified statements such as these.

Total Amiga magazine is the only UK print mag that the British Amiga Community has ATM and in our opinion of extremely good quality given the constraints that SEAL are under.

The hard work should be appreciated and not trolled in this way...
