Open IRC from CeBIT compliments of ARCNet and MorphZone. http://arcnet.vapor.com and http://www.morphzone.org .

IRC channel now available: irc.vapor.com, port: 6667, channel: #Cebit

Or, use the the web-interface from MorphZone (Must be registered) This is just an open discussion, any chats with real Genesi/MorphOS developers, executives, etc aren't necissarily planned. However, that doesn't mean that Genesi representatives will not be there, it just means there is no set schedule.

Enjoy!

Just like Amigaworld but this time the users will get kicked and banned for saying anything negative about genesi.

Well, its not exactly like AmigaWorld, AmigaWorld has a few users.

ZING BAM BOOM....yes I slammed them.

I'm not really posting about that, this is a LOOK AT ME post.
I finally got this compaq ia-1 networked up, so I could be online at the
sametime as my wife.

Now, she's not online, so I'm actually just using this machine for its pure geek appeal.....this is so freaking cool! For 40 bucks I get a 10.4" flat screen, 266mhz AMD athlon...just had to take WinCE MSN companion off the sandisk and replace it with linux, and buy a USB Nic.

It would be even more cool, if I could get AROS to work with it...this machines not fast enough for UAE, but aros....but then they don't even have networking let alone a driver for a USB nic....but its still a nice thought.

This is so cool! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

"milli is a Greek m normally:)"

Aren't you confusing that with micro, which is a Greek 'u'??

Its very nice to see Genesi at big mainstream shows like this. Good luck to all involved and I hope CeBit generates even more interest in the Pegasos/MorphOS platform!

In reply to Comment 7 (MiniBobF):
Oops, yes, but then again that Greek "u" is an m not a u:) It's actually like
an upside down m with the first line longer and the third one shorter. ì

@Alkis

Are you talking about "my"?

---> µ (which is the symbol for "micro", if you can all display it correctly)

mhz should be MHz, not mHz

:-)

I can spend all day making corrections.

In reply to Comment 12 (MarkTime):
Although, mHz could be useful...

The frequency of mile markers on a road trip could be a few mHz :)
Or, how often I do washing up, which is about 1 µHz

Christmas? 0.0317 µHz

Hmm, not bad for $40 ...

http://linux.boeldt.net/IA-1_Hardware.asp

Still faster than any non-PPC based Amiga ever built!

AdmV is in the #morphos channel for ages... He didn't get kicked... You know
very well that AdmV is not at all "kind" when talking about Genesi...

Are you sure it should have read like that? I think 266mhz sounds like... a bit slow :)

Anything above 100 MHz is not slow in my book.
