In reply to Comment 148 (Alkis Tsapanidis):
Words can mean so much when taken out of it's context. Please stop taking things out of context and turning it into something that fits your twisted view of me as the evil BAF troll samface. I *clearly* explained that it was merely an example and could just as well has been replaced with any another AmigaOS alternative. What I was talking about actually had nothing to do with MorphOS itself, period.

I am shocked at reading that because that just says i can go and make comments on Amigaworld but if my comments make sound like i am having a dig a AmigaInc then i will be warned and next time banned?

I knew people like to keep forums nice as pie but going to those extremes is just out of order and i for one will not sign up for a Amiga website which is runned like that.

>Anyway, my point is that you should probably do the same regarding the
>incident at AmigaWorld, don't you agree?

I'm affraid I cannot. I used to give MB the benefit of the doubt and even used to defend his actions. My eyes have been cleared, I see the real him. I have seen what BS he has put certain people through. I have seen the hypocracy and blatant agenda.

Everyone will believe what they want to believe, and/or based on personal experiences. You still may feel you were treated wrong on A-Org. No matter what I say you may still feel that way. It's just IMHO and the opinion of many others that MB is a far more devious individual from OUR experiences.

You're one of the very few people thinking that "Amiga" is a package deal with
"Amiga Inc". I got a few Amigas over here and use them, with AmigaOS or without.
I consider myself a member of the *Amiga* Community. I couldn't care less about
"Amiga Inc". Put these words in your brain before posting again in any thread,
anywhere. I could translate something from Sophocles' Antigone but I don't think
that you would even read it anyway...

I really wish you would just shut your mouth and stop typing for one sec and stop your stupid Amigaworld insults, you MorphOS people are really the worst bunch of people to ever comment on this site.

Drop Dead.

In reply to Comment 151 (samface):
Say whatever you like. You claimed that you hadn't specifically brought MorphOS
in this thread. You did. In whatever context that was, you did...
And BTW, I want to remind you that I'm not stupid enough to believe you when you
say that it could be replaced with any other AmigaOS alternative, the words
MorphOS and fanatic are being combined all the time either in your mouth or
with your hands on the very keyboard you're typing right now.

LOL Now I am a MOS person! I have been called everything now from BAF to MOS person! You can think what you want, but don't think personal insults will silence freespeech. At least not on democratic websites.

In reply to Comment 155 (createcoms):
How much money have you ever spent (or even worse, after reading your comments,
I can safely replace this word with "wasted") on Amiga hardware and software?
How much time have you WASTED here? For how much time have you be running after
any Amiga company blowing them for a new Amiga? How much time have you be PC-less?

I had enough of ALL of the above... There are people in AmigaWorld.net that
never did any of the above... I am FED UP about this situation... I could very
well, leave all the wankers behind and join another community. Why don't I do
that? I LOVE the Amiga. I spent YEARS of my life one... I grew up with an Amiga
for fuck's sake! I do not care about what you or any other low life tells me,
it's not necessery to blow Amiga Inc this time if you wanna be an Amigan... I
was fooled into that trap since Commodore went down... ENOUGH!
Now grow the fuck up.

2. I'm not even a registered member of AmigaWorld and don't know much about the site, actually. All I ever did was trying to bring some objectivity in all this and in the end; no matter what they do with their site, they are free to do so, and YOU are free to NOT point your browser there.

3. Personally insulting someone but at the same time beeing afraid of telling us your own identity is not only pathetic, but hipocracy at it's purest form.

I was surprised that someone puts such an 'article' here. IMO, the people here simply cannot appreciate that.(correct me if I'm wrong)
It's nice, but I'm far from responding on ANN. Christian and the team does a perfect job, but I just don't like the culture here. Lots of whining, personal attacks, word catching, and other non-constructive garbage.

I wouldn't say the F word is "light", but that's different for every individual and culture. Remember, this place is international and not just the one you address the post to will read what you say, so a certain degree of respect for what others may find offensive has to apply.

@Alkis
@Samface

Seriously, guys.. you two seem to have something against eachother.
Is this really something that the rest of the readers need to see? Can't you take it private or something? Have a discussion via mail/irc or whatever?
Discussing things on forums usually tends to distort the whole thing since there is a significant amount of time that elapses between each reply and then there's no body language that goes with the comment, making the comment come out in a tone that the reader chooses to read it as.

I think both of you are misinterpreting the tone of the others comments.
I had a disagreement with you once, Alkis, and we took it by mail and after that, we more or less agreed on the issue. Perhaps it is time for the both of you to do the same? These petty little fights only helps to degrade the conversation on this site and will only lead to one of you getting an ulcer or something.

reflect - the mediator. ;)

...perkilää :-P

Seriously, wether you or I find the words to be offending or not doesn't really matter. The point is wether anyone reading these forums might find them offensive or not. You see, while a greek or a finn may find the F word to be a "light" swearword (hey, they use it in the movies all the time, right?), a native english speaking person may not. You act one way when you're with your friends, another when you're at an expensive restaurant with your boss. The same thing goes for when you're posting in a public and international forum, and it's called "netiquette".

Alkis talked about beeing offended by createcoms but the only thing he achieved by using swearwords was degrading himself to the same level. He also talked about having something to say but I'll tell you that *none* of it came across as soon as he started to swear.

There simply is no valid reason for making the lives of the ANN.lu moderators more difficult. Let's just be a bit more civilized than that, shall we?
