The new version of the delfina.library now supports the soundcard on all clockports that are available on Zorro cards by individual Computers. This includes X-Surf, X-Surf 2, VarIO, Buddha Flash and ISDN-Surfer. The library can be used on the new Delfina by individual Computers, or on the old clockport version by Petsoff.

Does this include say an X-Surf on a ZIV busboard - or perhaps even one of the 4 one the ZIV board itself?

Yes, this library can also use the Delfina on one of the Z4 clockports. If you have an X-Surf in that Z4 board, the Delfina will also work on that. This is Amiga :-)

Does this lib also support the old Zorro2 versions (Delfina, Delfina Lite and Delfina Plus) by petsoff?

That new library work with my Delfina Lite. But like most of the other versions it has problems. (like hardware mp3 decoding crashing computer) I do have a patched library that works with Delfina Lite. Other Delfinas I have no idea. But the new library will most probably work with other versions without crashing.

Hurrah!

I had no luck with a Prelude 1200 on anything other than the internal A1200 clockport, and that refuseto work with the Z4 at all.

Have you checked the sound quality for Delfina clockport I/O on a Z4? There are definite problems recording with, for example, the Repulse via a Z4. How about with a Zorro Delfina card?

Sorry for all the questions, but if I can get a better than decent soundcard which actually records for my A1200T, then I'll buy a Delfina!!
