WHDload is for 68k, so you would have to use some 68k emu for your ppc ....

would have been really nice if it did ...

No it won't. Old games ignore OS and hit hardware directly. New generation hardware doesn't have "classic" custom chips (aga, paula), therefore old games won't work. On Pegasos or AmigaOne you'll have to use UAE for a500 games.

Building some sort of transparent AGA chipset emulation into the new OS's would have been nice though. Would have meant about 95% more software available to run on the new machines.
