Ooer, those window decorations are the most civilised ones I've seen in the Amiga world to date.

You should upload all that on Aminet. It's easier to find things
afterward :)

i've noticed that on all the screensjhots i've seen of Ambient, the system gadgets is very small. and (maybe) always the same size?.

Is this a limitation of Ambient, or am i just mistaken :-)

Can the system gadgets for windows be bigger than the currently released screenshots? (not bigger than the screenshots them self ofcourse) :-)

Well, thanks for the info then... :-)

In reply to Comment 5 (Nicolas Sallin):
rather not, lets not flood aminet with stuff thats not usable on all amigas, it will
be a mess in no time.
Either speak with the aminet maintainers and maybe setup a seperate morhpos
archive with the usual aminet tree inside that, or ask Genesi to donate cash
for some servers and start a seperate morphnet for freeware community stuff.

MorphZone "download" area would seem to be the best place. Not entirely sure how you upload files though...

That's sort of a silly comment - Aminet has plenty of files that are only usable on specific Amiga systems. Draco files, IV24 files, etc. There are already files specific to MUI enabled systems, and more.

In reply to Comment 9 (Lasse Bodilsen):
@Lasse
Well actually I do not know if the gadgets can be made any bigger, but thats the part of configfile regarding windows. It may be that using bigger gadgets will resize the borders automaticly.
Pretty much everything can be modified and adjusted, it would be a bit silly if size of gadgets was not one them. I can test this in a few hours when I get back home.

Yes, gadgets can be bigger, it's just that most of us prefers them small (what's the point in wasting desktop space on oversized buttons (unless you see poorly or have bad aim)? ;) ) .. anyway, there will be some more skins soon, and they will be scalable... ;)

In reply to Comment 7 (Lasse Bodilsen):
nah... that's propably because the most attempts to create a first own skin is done by changing one of the default skins. So there's not much experience... even not for increasing the size of the gadgets. ;-)

Anyway... I like those small windown borders.

The icons in the archive have black background. But on the screenshot they are gray.. Are they special Morphos transparant PNG's ?

yes, they use the alphachannel. e.g. that shadow of Ryu in the "Street Fighter 2" icon has a 50% transparency... looks very cool on colourful backdrops (I've used only simple gray in background to save bandwidth/ png filesize).

I have it on good authority that 0.71 of the dos/windows/unix/mac versions will be out within the next two weeks. There may even be a game or two that knocks the living daylights out of your cpu...
