If you do not like to use 803.11b you can use Wlynx MB400-S, this is ADSL Switch, hit has a web-interface and a telnet interface, most Ethernet devise has one, the only problem you can get is, setting up the device in the same ip-range if you use static ip-addresses, the device is setup providing DHCP/BOOTP service, services that provides computers with ip-addresses as default,

for anyone one that do like guessing game 'hit' should be 'it' (it's a valid word) in my last comment!!,

the device has built in firewall, the device basically splits the ip-address you get from tour ISP in to x number if ip-addresses, the routing is setup by the client computer when you connect to web/ftp etc. server, how ever when some one try to access you it will not know how to route if you do not assign port on your switch to local ip-addresses, this routing table, this need to setup to use gnu-tella in linux etc, or FTP service in Amiga OS.

the cool thing about using devices like this is that it frees up CPU resources you will be use to code/decode the PPPoE protocol and the firewall interface on your local computer,

I think the point was 802.11b on the Amiga. Very cool! Good suggestion on the switch but any ADSL switch'll work on the Amiga's ethernet port.
