"I think there is definitely something wrong with these files."

Yes, the format of the audio track is incorrect.

Actually the PPC version is on the NovaDesign
site, look in "online store" and notice the
"Add Powerstation" option for ImageFX. This
is the PowerPC plugins and they work great on
MorphOS.

It's not a complete PPC native ImageFX but
many of the most common loaders/savers and
effects modules are included as PPC versions...

In reply to Comment 27 (magnetic):
Well the problem with OS4 for A1 (if it happens) and Amithlon is that you will only be able to run classic OS3.x apps. That is until somenone makes OS4 applications, which is tough because it doesnt exsist yet to develop on!
***
And MorphOS will also only run OS3.x apps or specially designed MorphOS apps. As it's not OS4 compatible or to what extent is yet to be shown.

Amithlon can only run the classic apps and MOrphOS has tons of native applications currently and in the future!
***
Tons? I'm doubtful of this claim of yours. I'd venture under 100 MorphOS apps that are not available for Amiga OS 3.x.

Also, MOS runs Warpup/PowerUp (Amiga ppc) programs and OS4 does not! So the clear choice is Pegasos/mos!
****
As it's yet to be shown how OS4 does this is a correct statement as of today but in a couple of months may not be. It's really a moot point until OS4 announces how it may or may not support WarpUp/PowerUp applications.

As I said we'll see in Sept-Oct where the Amiga wars MorphOS vs AmigaOS4 are going along with the Amiga Forever option. Neither OS4 nor MorphOS are going to have a huge amount of apps that aren't on OS3.5 and can't be run via Amiga Forever.

During latest os4 demo in France, they explained they want to make
different patchs for every existing warpup applications. That's how
warpup "compatibility" will work in os4.

@me
most of the tools that comes with OS4.0 will be PPC, yes they have broken the comparability with WUP, PUP and they will not fuckup the kernel to support them, how ever this will be solved with a application launcher

@Anonymous

@me
this is the problem really.

@me
yes they have currently more apps, how ever they are not designed for q/box and they are there for not designed for memory protection.

@me
not a big lose anyway, they do not support memory protection and they are mostly codes in C so simple recompile can be done, yes there is always programs that will never be recompiled to bad, guess they are not worth proting.

As long as there is no AmigaOne you can be shore of it, butt once there is a AmigaOne with OS4.0 to get you be wrong, thats when all we Se how much that is not working and thats when we most start developed software to replace the old outdated once.

I can't see lots and lots of developers jumping to OS4 once it's released. I'm sure the main core, which is now just a handful, of developers will work on OS4. In a year after OS4 is released will be a good time to see what sort of encouragement Amiga has done to get developers to come to their revamped AmigaPPC system.

It's funny... At the time MorphOS was released (before 0.4) some people screamed
that it is useless as it doesn't support WOS apps and that WOS is the future of
the Amiga... Now the same people advocate NOT having it, even saying that it's a
good thing... Strange world, isn't it? :-)
