bplan GmbH would like to inform you about the upcoming event taking place on the 7th of August at 9.00 pm (GMT+1; 21.00 CEST) on NBC GIGA. NBC GIGA THE FUTURE IS YOU!

You can receive NBC Europe almost everywhere in Germany by cable. NBC Europe is transmitted via the Eutelsat Hotbird 5 network as well. The digital signal can be picked up by a digital receiver (DVB-S).

Of course bplan told the TV-station that it is "the new Amiga, called AmigaOne" they would like to show and then when they attend bplan brings "an alternative platform called MorphOS, running on the Pegasos computer" instead... :-)

I hope that somebody will MPEG this TV appearance up, as was done for the Hungarian TV appearance, so that those off us who can't get NBC (I don't own a TV) can watch it.

True or false?

I honestly don't believe it would have helped the Pegasos to go on the air as AmigaOne only to admit halfway during the show that it is in fact no such thing.

Am I wrong?

I watched show in Turkey from cable. it was exciting. in first part they told they were great amiga fans and in community since years.

in second part they showed capabilities of open firmware

in third part they boot up morphos (in 5-6 seconds) and run some applications (mui config, mplayer). they changed skins. it was running smooooth as heaven I loved it. It is my first time to see a runnign morphos BTW. I wish to see pegasos-morphos come to ce-bit eurasia in IStanbul in september. Maybe not this year but next year? bbrv?

in fourth part they showed suse, and macosx which I didnt care a lot. they talked about pegasos2 and new features etc.

this show was good, I wished there was more of morphos. please think of better presentations bbrv.

Yes, he was the silent one. He spoke once in a while. Gerald Carda really has the gift of being able to talk extemporaneously, 80% of what viewers of that telecast got was Gerald talking (relevantly) about Pegasos and MorphOS.

Yes, there was somthing like this, but not in that words.
It was more a announcement of a presentation of a new PPC Amiga with a new AmigaOS (they didn't write they will show the AmigaOne).

Okay, that is similar to my recollection. 3Sat erroneously used the term "Amiga" in one way or another, but made no reference to "OS4" or "Amiga One."

Not that anyone will care about it, but the time wasn't really right,
GMT+1 is the same as CET (the normal Central European Time), while CEST ("summer time") is really GMT+2.
