I'm curious. Where are all these AmigaOS 4 applications showing up ? And how comes they are demonstrated on shows while people haven't seen AmigaOS 4 yet.

Quite a few people have seen OS4 demoed, but not on an amigaOne.

The thing that gets me is that DavyAE is a bit on the proejudice side, he only wants to release this on OS4 and doesn't want to sell a MorphOs version, which a few hundred more (double the market) would like to buy.

It's their software & they have the right to do so, if you don't like it, ask them *politely* to reconsider, if they still don't want to, sad, but move on with your life.

Davy has limited time available and does not feel he can support several versions.

As there are only a few hundred MorphOS users altogether, it isn't likely that more than ten would actually buy AE, especially as they apparently get PSA free. When several thousand Pegasos 2 computers are in use, those who want AE can mail Davy and ask. If he gets hundreds of requests, maybe he will reconsider.

I expect some Amithlon users would like AE too, but again there are only a few hundred of them.

Developers have seen OS4. If normal users have not be able to buy it, it does not mean that developer do not have access to it.

Yep, that sums it up nicely! And the code is already incompatible now with OS3.x and I have just begun using OS4 features. Especially the libraries are different.

Wrong address; as the MorphOS-ABox is an enhanced clone of the AmigaOS API you should ask Genesi to make this clone more compatible with the original, as you would do with every clone/emulator developer.
