Looks like an egg-cooker .....

....but is probraly a stylish (and sucky sounding) speaker-system.

As Kronos said, they are a set of really cool speakers!

Yes, when I took a closer look I noticed the speaker at the bottom, so this must be some kind of subwoofer or something.

Well, this would go perfectly together with my all-plexiglass Pegasos tower! :-)

Seems like it to me.

I dunno if they work on anything other than a mac - it's the harman-kardon soundsticks and the iSub which were designed for the imac g4 which uses a proprietary speaker connector.

WHY? Good GOD man, why make a freaking speaker connector proprietary????

things like that drive me nuts!

So that's why they are connected to an Apple computer. I'd been
wondering about this for some time.

Don't quote me on this but I have a hunch that the keyboard and mouse
could be Apple items. I'm not sure why, but like I said it's just a
hunch.

In reply to Comment 8 (Rob):
At least Apple keyboards and mice use standard USB plugs. I didn't know about the non-standard speaker connectors, that's just plain retarded.

Those would be the Harmon-Kardon clear plastic Penis and Butthole Speaker set for the Apple Mac.

In reply to Comment 7 (T_Bone):
They are designed for a Mac sure...but at least all pairs i have seen have a USB plug on them.

A gentle reminder that we should all get out and look at other computer platform's hardware and software once in a while perhaps???
