Posted by Anonymous on 29-Sep-2003 14:46 GMT | Yeah great news, uhm....What is this Tyra group doing in a living area? It's just a few streets away from where your living Ron van der Herk. Located near Kralingen, the worst area in Rotterdam. See : link
In other words, this Tyra group is nothing more then a friend or relative of yours, with an shop at home. Selling a Pegasos in another housing perhaps? Nothing to get exciting about. |

Wanneer de fout zich voor blijft doen kunt u als alternatief een ander nabij gelegen postcode of straat opgeven." |

Posted by OffTopic on 29-Sep-2003 16:11 GMT | In reply to Comment 4 (bbrv): (This is admittedly off topic, but needs to be said:)
Sorry, not willing to jump on your bandwagon. If everyone would
stop attempting to devide up what little there is left of the
spoils and try to cooperate a bit (that would include AInc,
by the way), amigadom would be a lot more united (and perhaps
more money could be made, in the end): Both sides are part
of the problem but there does not seem to be a solution. BB's
strategy seems to be to try and finish off the trademark
holders before they can get more products out the door. I
question the need for a fight to the death. |

Posted by greenboy on 29-Sep-2003 16:14 GMT | In reply to Comment 6 (Anonymous): One should not overlook partnerships with any who show incentive and a certain mix of skills and finance. Perhaps for you the concept of partnership does not include such a concept, but to most it does make sense to continue old relationships as well as to form new ones.
That said, I don't yet know if Tyra Group has previous ties with Ron Van Herk or not, what the significance of the specific neighborhood is, or if this is simply a contact that has been made more recently, hopefully to the benefit of all who are involved with Pegasos as a platform.
Any way you cut it, more hands to do the work to advance the platform, and good news for all who wish to see the opportunities for the platform increase. |

Hi, your post is really fun to read! :-) It is amazing how people want to hang on to the idea that no big companies are interested in Pegasos (or Amiga for that matter) products.
But I will play along and answer your post ;-)
First of all, a few blocks away from me? You have got to be joking, it takes about 10 minutes by car. Do you have any idea how big Rotterdam is? :-)
Apart from this, have you ever even heard of office blocks being placed next to habitational areas?
About Tyragroup, this is not some in-home shop, it is a Taiwanese/Dutch company that develops products but also distributes other brands, like, say Plexuscom? Ever heard of them?
Anyway, this is good stuff, keep it up! And be sure to watch the pictures from the Tyragroup booth at the benelux show. You see, sometimes when a company announces that they have a partner that will use they're technology, it's actually true :-D
Cheers,
Ron |

Posted by Frans on 29-Sep-2003 19:12 GMT | In reply to Comment 9 (takemehomegrandma): This is Dutch:
"Er is een fout opgetreden : Toegang geweigerd
Wanneer de fout zich voor blijft doen kunt u als alternatief een ander nabij gelegen postcode of straat opgeven."
Which translates to English something like this:
"An error has occured : Access denied
If the error persists you could alternatively enter another nearby zipcode or street" |

Posted by Ron van Herk on 29-Sep-2003 20:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 14 (Anonymous): Hmm. And you're sending me the route to drive there from computer city, why?
>Funny that your Tyragroup doesn't show any significant hits other then erotic
>pictures or an adult video shop :-)
Huh? MY Tyragroup? Erotic pictures? Adult video shop? You completely lost me here :-)
Tell you what, you know the area where I am, right? And you say it's so near Tyragroup, why don't you go there and visit them then?
Here's a route description: http://www.tyragroup.com/contact.htm
Their address is Palladiostraat 11. Please call before you go there first, on +31-10-2097010. Tell them I said hi, when you're there!
Cheers,

Posted by greenboy on 29-Sep-2003 20:23 GMT | In reply to Comment 15 (Ron van Herk): Ron, perhaps there is a law that forbids business ventures with partners in the same urban area - or at least within a certain radius. This bears investigation ; } |

Posted by Amon_Re on 30-Sep-2003 05:48 GMT | In reply to Comment 9 (takemehomegrandma): It's a basic 404 error type, but in Dutch (Well, it just says that there was an error and that you should try the same search with a different area code)
You have no idea how weird it is however to see a post here with Dutch inside of it ;)
