Posted by Troels E on 12-Oct-2003 10:57 GMT | The Peg2 is launched at a really nice price (at least for the Amiga people), wonder if Eyetech will lower the A1 price at some point (soon:)?
Doubt it will happen before AOS4 is released though... |

Posted by Senex on 12-Oct-2003 11:29 GMT | In reply to Comment 1 (Kjetil): Well, originally it had been kindly intended for certain developers who had said to need one, but since they - as it seemed at BAPS - didn't want it anymore, now it's on sale at eBay. |

There was going to be an RTG version ages ago. It would be nice to be able to use it on Amigas with graphics cards and sound cards. |

Posted by Ron van Herk on 12-Oct-2003 13:05 GMT | In reply to Comment 6 (Don Cox): Hi Don,
MediaPoint will be a Genesi product in the future. Currently we have it running on CGX in beta. The stand-alone version will be part of the Genesi SuperBundle, teh remote access version will be offered as Pegasos-based complete solutions.
Once the RTG / AHI part is finished, existing Amiga version owners will get a free upgrade as well.
Cheers,
Ron |

Great, here we go again. HELLO! these things are not for sale yet!
If people want to be dumb enough to preorder amiga stuff, they deserve what they get. Look at history people! What if it gets pushed back or cancelled? what if the specs or the price changes? I'll order my Peg2 when I see a picture of Bill Buck with a production board on his hand and a big grin on his face ;) |
