PowerIcons 1.02 with many improvements and bugfixes is ready for download from <http://www.elena-fractals.it/Downloads/PowerIcons.lha> and soon (we hope...... ;-) from Aminet. Major problems should have gone away with this new release. .&

I'm curious about one thing... if I plug my pegasos' hd in my A4000T would it be able to read directly MOS icons with this patch installed? In other words: is the format the same as the MOS icons? I know PNG is used but when you turn a PNG into ".info" and you add some tooltypes where are these tooltypes stored? I guess that there's a "chunk" which stores the bitmap data and the rest of the icon file structure reamins very similar...

Sure it should work. You can view icons from MorphOS HD in Multiview, too.

This is a very cool patch!

I've been checking out quite a few linux icon sets in the past few days -- they're all nice, but not very "Amiga-like", so tonight I started kludging together my own icons based on the original glow-icon set.

What do you think so far?

What icon set is this & where did you get it?
There is a guy on AmigaWorld.net that's doing
the same thing with the Crystal icon set & has
said he would upload it to Aminet when it was
done.

The latest update is good. But it's still got that really annoying "I want to look like windows" arrow sticking out the top left corner of the icon location when you go to drag an icon somewhere. I like the border much better but that arrow is just plain GACK! There should be an option to turn the arrow completely off. I couldn't care less if you don't see an alter image at all... just get rid of that ugly arrow. PLEASE!!!

seems latest version is broken. crashing whd installers, so back to v1.01 i go.
