Its the idiot troll putting down the efforts of people who are working hard to do something positive for this community!

Do you have any idea what level of organisation goes into this sort of thing? Didn't think so.

Why don't you go and play with the traffic?

Don't feed it. Trolls only come out when they're scared, or when you give them food. If you don't feed them, their fear consumes them.

The people who are waiting and want to see and "touch" OS4 are more than appreciative of your efforts, as are we at Amiga, Inc.

What about to avoid flamewars and instead work to have
Amiga website comply at least partially with this document?

I targetted HTML 4.0 Transitional (or "Tag Soup") not because I like it, but because I was designing for IBrowse and AWeb as the lowest common denominator. You know, it *is* an Amiga show.

The server seems to be down at the moment, too. God knows why that is, but i'm sure it'll be back up soon.

I would love to go, but I'm afraid it's in the wrong part of the country for me. I live 250 miles away and the only way I could motivate myself to drive that far was if it was to collect my copy of OS4 :-)
It would be good if you could set up some sort of web cam, although I realise that might not be possible.
Good luck with the show.

I prefer to do payed work in a serious environment (and no, nothing
related to Amiga is serious imho). Btw. what is the
connection between me asking an employer of Amiga Inc to improve
accessibility of the company's website and you asking me to back
on a project that is died as well as Amiga?

Well at least with GNER you are likely to get to to where you want to go. I've had some very bad experiences over the past 12 months with Virgin - but have nothing but praise for GNER.

And secondly, er, GNER doesn't go to Bath - they run the ECML (East Coast Mainline) which covers London Kings Cross, through to Leeds, York, Newcastle, Aberdeen and Glasgow.

So why don't they own AmigaInc?

Simple, if you're no more interested in a "dead project" (many ppl here disagree from your viewpoint), why you annoy people like the amiga inc webmaster with your silly questions? :-)

If you have personal problems with Ray A Akey, Mike Bouma and Ben Hermans the resolve them politely in private ways and don't involve all of us in your idiotic crusades.

Again, go back to your serious work with Microsoft/IIS and get a girlfriend, too! :-)

First of all I'm glad that the thread with your insults to
me has been deleted, now I hope we can start discuss in a
civil way.

>Simple, if you're no more interested in a "dead project"
>(many ppl here disagree from your viewpoint), why you annoy
>people like the amiga inc webmaster with your silly
>questions? :-)

I consider Amiga a dead project in these hands, but I still
use it, I'm still an active person in the community (as my
software, my articles and the Amiga site I run can
demostrate...) and I feel free to express my opinion here as
you do. Also I find that opunions are more useful than
annoying flames against mOS.

When I see the Amiga webmaster jump in every discussion
shouting I ask myself why he can't instead do a favour to the
community and improve web accessibility of the Amiga web
site. Maybe you don't know these issues, nor you are
requested to know if you aren't a web master, but
accessibility is very important. Here in Venice there have
been many events with W3c guys regarding accessibility, so I
know well these issues.

Having a web site nowadays is not enough. It needs to be
accessivle to the biggest number of people and this is also
a good way to improve your business and attract partners. So
I think that asking someonee to read W3c specifications and
improve the site in this way is not flaming with him, but is
doing him a favour.

>and don't involve all of us in your idiotic crusades.

I could say the say regarding your flames against me and your
flames against mOS.

>Again, go back to your serious work with Microsoft/IIS and
>get a girlfriend, too! :-)

Sorry, you confuse ASP with PHP which runs both on IIS and
on Apache, which is my work environment, on the several
servers I manage right now.

Redirect "personal problems with me" in email (you know
mine) and "don't involve all of us in your idiotic
crusades".

I like to Se you run all over Internet and ask every one to follow the W3C,

LOL :D

I can tell you this right now, you will not succeed in this crusade, it better to implement better support for web sites then asking the web sites to update there web pages, any way it essayer that way.
