You can buy one now at Scott's site or others. There will be a couple new Pegasos sites added in Europe and Asia this weekend. Or, you can buy directly from PegasosPPC. The idea is that Genesi will sell the mainboards and Resellers will build complete systems.

Today, we are looking farther than just the desktop or developer market now for our Resellers. You will notice for example this site mentioned now above: http://odc.pegasosppc.com/ and you will see that OpenBSD for PegasosPPC has been further certified by IBM. The idea is that Scott and others have another market to sell the Pegasos into. In this case, for security in distributed networks as a firewall. One Company we will be working with in this direction is ShopIP. Their website is here: http://shopip.com/ We will be demonstrating the Crunchbox Pegasos here: http://www.infosecurityevent.com/ Genesi will have Thomas Morris and Kermit Woodall there to support the event with the ShopIP team. In turn, this can be leveraged into new markets by our Resellers. Scott has begun to take advantage of our efforts by featuring the Ready for IBM Technology logo on his site which links back to the PegasosPPC page in the IBM Directory. That is credibilty and we will be doing our best to provide as much of that as we can!

There is much more to come!

Again, great work Scott!

Genesi sell music now? Or is it a diffent Genesi that is linked on
the site.

Also on pegasosPPC.com on the operating systems page it lists AmigaOS
as being in the early stages of being ported. Care to elaborate Bill.

No it doesn't say Amiga OS.

Look again! And where is the link going? Amiga.org? Are they going to port Amiga.org?

I think it's a trick to fool people that Amiga OS and/or Amiga DE is going to be avalible On Pegasos.

I think you will see posts from customers when the boards are actually delivered. No such posts have appeared yet.

If you are cautious, you could wait until the reviews are in.

New products are often late.

Actually you can run the last released AmigaOS on the Pegasos -- under emulation. As for OS4, there are a number of vendors who want to bring OS4 to the Pegasos and who have been working on this for months. We are happy to support their efforts. Hyperion should be too. They will sell more copies. About DE, the lawsuit is nearly over. We expect in three weeks to have a court order allowing us to do the port ourselves. That is, assuming anything really exists! Finally Don, the first Pegasos II boards went to a very important customer. The reviews will be good. In fact they already are...;-)

This will be an order to Tao?

"That is, assuming anything really exists!"

Tao's Intent, which is what you are really asking for, certainly exists.

I think Ami2D exists. Not sure about the state of the other DE libraries. Ask fleecy.
