This would have been much more amusing, if the obvious MOS-bias of the writers hadn't shone through as much. Oh well, I guess no-one is perfect and I'm sure some of the groups will have a good laugh.

If nothing else the basic idea was a good one - even if the execution could have been far better.

Well, I guess so, but the thing is there's more opportunity with Amiga than with genesi, I mean, if you were a commedian, and you had two presidents to work with for material, George Washington, and Bill Clinton, who are you going to find the most jokes about? I think it's much less to do with bias as it is Amiga just happens to be the Bill Clinton in this picture.

I'm afraid I disagree. It would be very easy to poke just as much fun at the other side. After all only one side has adopted a truly proffessional approach with regards to official announcements, while the other keeps blabbering all over news sites and fora with more or (often) less interesting ideas and provocations.

Anyway.. plenty to ridicule on all sides.

Kronos was talking about "Daddy-Bush". George No-Dubya Bush Sr. When he was president, he once got sick at a dinner on a visit to Japan and vomited on the Japanese PM's lap. Hilarity ensued.

Anyway, if you all ignore US politics and who's your favourite presidents for a minute, the point is that there simply is more material to joke about when it comes to AInc, their licensees and the BAIncFs (Blind AInc Followers). There's a steady and seemingly never ending stream of things to poke fun at. Often they even handle the parodying just fine themselves, so even a simple news report can be unintentionally hilarious/embarrassing. It's like they grab you by the collar and shout "PLEASE MAKE FUN OF ME!" in your face. To annoy both republicrats and demolicans, let's say they're comparable to both G.W. Bush and Clinton, gaffe-wise only.

>Strange you picked up this as an example.
>Well, rather than we get a life, you should get a sense of humour first maybe? :-)

Yes, please contunie insulting people that aren't MorphOS fanatics and telling us it's funny.

I keep trying to consider myself neutral and part of neither red/blue camp. Even though the MorphOS people aren't interested in sharing developer stuff like driver SDK with "outsiders" like myself, leaving me no reason to be personally interested in MorphOS or Pagasos, I try to be the kind of guy that wants them to succeed as much as I want Hyerion/Eyetech to succeed with their products.

I've chosen to buy into Amigaone/AmigaOS4 as I am able to develop for that, where MorphOS never even had the decency to say "no thanks" to my requests for developer stuff for Grex and MorphOS, making AmigaOS4 a better business decision for me personally for the Amiga-alike platform options available. But outright insults such as this to anyone not totally in the blue camp make me personally happier in a slightly redder shade of purple than before I read this web site's considerations of retarded 12% literate non-MorphOS fanatics who couldn't figure out how to buy food if it wasn't for some guy named Fleecy.

Come on guys, that's way beyond "get a sense of humor".

You can develop for it by registering at the MorphOS developer connection for free.

If you're not able to see the humour in it, then this article is offensive to everyone, what makes you think they target you, and moreover, what makes you think they belong predominantly to some faction set out to destroy all you stand for, and that Pegasos/MorphOS itself somehow is behind this?

Aren't you being just a tad bit paranoid here, and have you concidered that the reason you never got an answer is because they never received the question?

is generally available on most other OS'es than AmigaOS. Who wrote that one?
Did those games contain x86 assembler? Who rewrote those parts for PPC?
