Protovision - Creating the Future : Comment 1 of 9 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Anonymous on 10-Dec-2003 12:21 GMT | This stuff is just too cool. Harddrives, mp3 players, 32bit CPU's, keyboard adapters, I think this stuff is more appealing to the 'inner hacker' in me than most stuff I see for Amiga/Mac/PC today. |

Posted by Amon_Re on 10-Dec-2003 21:27 GMT | OMG! It's R-Type all over again, and i LOVE R-Type!
This makes me feel like getting a C64 all over again, why can't we have games like these on the Amiga anymore? :(
This is what a good game is all about, hard gameplay, fast graphics, 2D (*big grin*)... Man i miss those games
Cheers |

Posted by Anon My Mouse on 11-Dec-2003 03:21 GMT | Hello,
Protovision - A reference from that old but great hacker movie, WarGames..
But there were no C64's in that movie!!..
Seems a little strange flogging stuff for the C64 using a reference to a movie that pointedly did not have any C64's in it.

Posted by AmiDog on 11-Dec-2003 06:08 GMT | I have a SuperCPU, RR-Net (10Mbit ethernet) and a 3.5" FD-2000 diskdrive for my C64. I still need to get my hands on some kind of harddrive solution (IDE or SCSI) though.
Metal Dust isn't release yet, and it will require a SuperCPU with atleast 4MB RAM if I'm not mistaken. |
