And what's new about this? It's known for a long time already that they are investors of the current AI.

They haven't thrown any crumbs at Amiga since Garry Hare left, so I disagree they like to throw money away. Garry wasn't happy with Amiga when he left, and I don't doubt he recommended no more money was worth investing.

Re: Has Amiga Inc changed CEO?

Garry (Hare) is a content veteran with decades of experience at all levels of business. With the amount of interest and work coming into Amiga, Bill made it clear to the board that he just had too much to do. One of our main investors introduced Garry to Bill and since that moment Garry has been providing informal advice and support as a favour to the investor.

He looked over our strategy documents, did some research and digging and was very excited about Amiga. He thinks we have a good team, an excellent strategy and could be massive as we move to the next level. He is particularly excited about the AmigaOne and AmigaOS4 and believes it could have a huge future.

He has been very helpful and, if you read his CV, it would be fantastic if he was to come to work for Amiga. That however is upto him. One thing I have learnt from my dealings with him however is that he will not be impressed with Mr Buck spreading this kind of information around.

It looks like samface still believes in Moss' ramblings! Otherwise why would he post stuff like that? For some reason I don't think it was samface's intention to embarrass Moss again, even if that's what he did just now.

If I have to choose between believing in Mr Anonymous or the CTO of Amiga Inc. regarding Amiga Inc.'s internal affairs, the choice is easy. If that makes me a blind follower, so be it. Now crawl back under the rock you came from, troll.

It's old news brought up again just to start a flamewar...

Hopefully it gets moderated before Samface and the anonymos Trolls really start the fight :-)

I agree, this is old news and I fail to see the reason for bringing this up for discussion again. This is my final post in this thread.

"Garry has been providing informal advice and support as a favour to the investor. "

Like I said, Amiga has recieved NO investment capital since Garry went in... wonder why that is? Could it be because of what he told the investors, whom he was doing a favor for?

Doesn't sound like he went back to the investors and said "Yes! Great investment! Keep the money coming!"

In fact, I heard his exact words were "I've had enough of this foolishness"

| He is particularly excited about the AmigaOne and AmigaOS4
| and believes it could have a huge future.

I talked to Garry at a wireless conference, and he didn't seem to be interested in anything other than AmigaDE at all, not even remotely. I asked him about it, and not only did he appear not interested in A1/OS4, he didn't seem to know much about it, and assured me that AmigaDE was the Amiga technology to keep my eyes on.

This could well be because he was there on behalf of the investors, and the investors probably don't care too much about A1/OS4 either, since it's pretty much just a licensed trademark being used by others.

Anyway, I was kind of looking forward to meeting him again, he does a damn good job promoting AmigaDE, and was rubbing elbows with everyone. Good man.
