After a second server failure, the Big Book of Amiga Hardware main site is now back online, after moving hosting providers.

I've thanked you in the past, but it'd be a shame to miss another easy opportunity, so :

Thanks again for the hard work you're put in to providing this tremendous reference.

Gregg

Excellent work, keep it up!
BTW, there was a site that had a listing of all the libs out there, what app they belong to & stuff like that, does that one still exist?

Cheers

Good man!

Both myself and a m8 looked for info on your site (one of the mirrors that was still up) earlier today.

A Very good resource - and I notice you have a lot of new machines listed in the computers section!

But what about the Pegasos I and II ????????????
And the AmigaOne????????
And the AmigaOne Lite?????

etc

TTFN! ;)
Bifford

Keep

With all due respect Peter... but do we need the A1 and Pegasos on that site? I think they wouild be better served elsewhere.

www.amiga-hardware.com should be about classic hardware, since that is the most interesting, and the reason why I vist that site so often.

@Bifford
Without getting into Amiga politics, which I try and avoid :-), I'm waiting until OS 4 is (hopefully) officially released for these these machines before I list them. The site's focus however is primarily classic hardware as the distinction of what constitutes Amiga hardware isn't so blurry, IYSWIM :)

I really think it should remain that way, IMO neither the Pegasos nor the Terons/A1 fits in!

A really great site BTW! :-)

Exactly, with the A1 and the Pegasos, where do you stop? You don't want to add the hundreds of PCI sound/network.graphics/etc... cards to the site... Then what about AROS :-)

I think this site should stay "Amiga Hardware", and by that I mean Hardware that was designed specifically by/with/from/for the classic Amiga as we know it.

Unless A software section was added... then OS4 (+ the A1), MOS (+ the Pegasos) and AROS (+ Every other type of computer it supports) could be put there :-)

In reply to Comment 10 (Matt Parsons):
Yeah I pretty much agree with that. I will list the A1 once OS4 is officially released for it, and possibly other motherboards if OS4 is released for them. No listing of generic PCI, USB devices etc. MorphOS, AROS etc won't count, because like you say, the line has to be drawn somewhere. Someone could always setup the Big Book of MorphOS Hardware? :)

In reply to Comment 12 (Ian):
That would only have two entries.. Pegasos1 and Pegasos2... and then a link yo your site for the A1200 and A4000 with PPC cards...

So It would be the Little Book of MorphOS Hardware :-D
