Its a Pegasos2 review on amiga.org and it seems like most of them are happy with the new computer despite some minor issues.

Sounds like abit of a painful process with come annoying "features". Sounds like was rushed out alittle early and could have used a final round of polish. Thank God, everyone speaks German!

As I said in the review, that depends on the target audience IMO. I and many other people in the community was very eager to get this one, and I am glad I got it now, with or without polish. However, IMHO some more polish will be needed before it's ready for the people outside this community, and I am very confident it will get that soon enough.

Nice review, but there is one very important question which seems to be unanswered -

WHERE CAN I BUY A PEGASOS-II?

The main pegasos site? No. It says orders are suspended until 25 Feb.

Country-specific dealers? No. Of the two listed for my country, 1 is trying to sell me Pegasos-1 and nothing, and the other is (as far as I can see from tehir single-page website) selling nothing at all.

So how DOES one go about buying?

I want to buy a G4 Peg-2, but it seems no-one will sell it.

You mustn't necessarily buy at a dealer in your country. For example, you could order from Vesalia (located in the FRG). Their website is also available in English. You can choose from a lot of different currencies, so product prices are shown in your currency (conversion based on daily exchange rate). They ship world wide. Payment via PayPal is possible.

The "you're not worthy of giving us money" business plan works only up to a point, though. You gotta figure out the excact time when to grab everyones money and make a run for it. It's a version of "hyping up the product", followed by a "grab the loot and flee", and I'm not saying this is what's happening here.

But I certainly like the business plan :-)
