I hope that you do not believe that it was THAT simple and that it "was all thrown away by bPlan like a dirty rug"... This cost MONEY to bPlan, if they
could cooperate, don't you think that they would?
A fight needs *2* sides. NOT one...

In reply to Comment 151 (Alkis Tsapanidis):
And how much did it cost them to develop Ambient vs the cost to negotiate with Amiga Inc.? How much more Pegasos products would have been sold if it would be running the official next generation AmigaOS? How much further would the OS development progressed if they would have had help from Haage&Partner and Hyperion?

Of course I've been generalizing somewhat, it's impossible for laymen like ourselves to go into further detail. All I'm concluding here is that even if it would have cost more to continue negotiating, everybody, and I mean everybody, would have gained on it in the long run.

Phew... so you were generalizing too:-)
Indeed, we cannot go into further detail.
Anyway, I believe that neither side says the whole story and the only person
that knows the absolute truth is the one that knows the WHOLE story from both
sides. That is practically nobody:-)

...and finally we can reach some form of agreement.

As you can see, it's never impossible to reach some form of agreement as long as you keep an open dialogue. While it might be simplified logic, I do believe bPlan has something to learn from this philosophy.
