The probably most beloved, the most hated, the most downloaded and the most geeky port which is currently available for the MorphOS operating system is back with a new version. I'm proud to present MLDonkey 2.5-9 for Mor...

err.. ehem. :) Well then.... I'm proud to present:

MLDonkey 2.5-10 for MorphOS


MLdonkey is a multi-platform multi-networks peer-to-peer client. Originally, it was the first open-source client to access the eDonkey network. The protocol was 'reverse-engeneered' using an efficient protocol sniffer, Pandora .

Currently, with eDonkey , it supports several large networks, such as Overnet, Bittorrent, Gnutella (Bearshare, Limewire, etc), Gnutella2 (Shareaza), Fasttrack (Kazaa, Imesh, Grobster), Soulseek (beta), Direct-Connect (alpha), and Opennap (alpha).

The new version contains a new experimental plugin FileTP, that you can use to download files over HTTP, FTP and SSH. A lot of fixes and other improvements are also added. For a full list of check the ChangeLog in the archive.

Yes, AmigaOS4 port that uses spare CPU time comparable to distributed.net clientto crack the OS and secretly offer it to the share network... O:-)

MLDonkey relied on ocaml, which has only been ported to MorphOS. So, no OS4 or Amiga ports are possible. Yet.

good work. And secondly I really hope this stupid hw/os wars ends so the amigaone owners can run morphos and enjoy stuff like this, and the pegasos owners can check out amigaos4 once released aswell. So f#¤%ing stupid.

ok ppl buy a pegosos & morphos for run edonkey ... or buy an amiga one ad run Emule on Linux ppc (Emuke is more powerfull,and mutch used for sharing)

I tink Pegasuss can run Linux to.
And mldonkey is very nice, supporteing more protocolls than any other program can do.
