Qi supports JavaScript, DHTML DOM, CSS, SMIL and XML (including XML Parser, DTD and Schema validation). Qi supports movie formats like MPEG and audio types including MP3 and Software Synthesized MIDI. Qi is a complete multimedia player, offering a wealth of rich content to complement intent’s own dynamic multimedia capabilities.

Seems interesting...

By the way, was it built in upon a known Graphical Engine?

Knowing what GE it uses, it can possible to wonder if it can be possible to be ported easily or not on Amiga systems.

BTW: Read the factsheet. It is interesting.

Whoops... sorry! :-P

What I intended is the fact that when the Graphical Engine is a known one, if it is an easy one to be implemented also, it could be possible to write a porting for Amiga.

Anything is possible, but I think completing IBrowse 3 would need far fewer hours of coding than porting a whole graphics engine.

www.ocpa.jp :
"We still have to work through the final stages of the 3D API and there is demand to add various audio components, the security and download manager frameworks."

It seems that Ami3D and AmigaDE have so far not convinced ocpa members... not too earth shattering surprice... 8)

Holy crap (I thought) a new AmigaDE program? Or wait, this just looks like an Intent development....

Is this by an AmigaDE dev team/person or is it just another intent program....?

Ah well, back to sleep I guess...

Speaking of Intent, anyone know how the "bringing the AmigaDE to Pegasos" process is going?

Extremely slowly. It doesn't look as though the judge or the lawyers think it is at all urgent or important.

Genesi would have to negotiate a new contract with Amiga if they
really wanted AmigaDE to run on it.
Pegasos and MorphOS were not part of Thendic's product line up when
the original contract was made.
